Construction HSE Assistant

Position is open in a large international engineering company working on project of petrochemical construction project. Location is Tobolsk.

The specialist assists the HSE Engineer, monitoring that all site activities are performed according to HSE regulations, standards and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- To check and assure that Subcontractors perform their activities in accordance with the current HSE
procedures and regulations, promoting all necessary action to ensure that the said procedures and
regulations are observed;
- To held or participate to periodical Tool Box meeting with all the work force;
- To cooperate with the HSE Engineer concerning the proper implementation of any necessary work
permit requirement;
- To ensure the proper registration of any accident, near misses case and assist the HSE Engineer in
conducting the necessary investigation and to identify the corrective actions;
- To conduct the day by day safety inspection at site and to identify the areas of hazard to be rectified
- To keep updated the HSE Statistics
- To actively partecipate in the organization and coordination of the site emergency response team.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE
- Professional knowledge of health safety and environmetal protection within the workplace with abroad
understanding of relevant legislation, HSE performance monitoring, investigation of accidents with Root
- Minimum 2 years in equivalent position preferably in Oil & Gas - Petrochemical Industries, in complex medium-big size projects.
- Cause analysis, the design and implementation of safe systems of work and accident prevention
programmes, and the management of HSE within the workplace.
- Hazard Identification and Risk assessment methodology.
- Basic knowledge of Behaviour Based Safety methodology and practical application
- Training and communication ability.

STUDIES
Minimum Secondary school degree, preferentially scientific disciplines.
Complementary University graduation technological and science discipline and /or HSE disciplines.

LANGUAGE
English commercial level is mandatory.
Other languages complementary.
